Kate （詩涵）是個自稱「假洋鬼子」的現代女性，而大日子將近的她卻決定在三峽老家舉行訂婚儀式。我有榮幸於2011年的10月底幫助她和老公張立廷將這個特別的場合拍攝下來。我去年已經寫過自己的感想配上部分的圖片，而新娘Kate從我提供的圖片中挑選出部份的照片並敘述那天的經過。 後來的迎娶儀式也是在老家辦理的，但因為我南下拍攝另外一場婚禮無緣記錄。 A self-described “Westerner wannabe,” Kate is a modern Taiwanese woman, who as her wedding day approached decided to hold a traditional engagement ceremony at her family’s traditional old homestead. 2011年6月18日Josh選擇在他女友Esther完成第一次鐵人三項比賽之後向她求婚。他事先找我安排把求婚的過程拍攝下來。 On June 18, 2011 Josh chose the afternoon of his girlfriend Esther’s first triathlon to propose to her. He planned in advance so I would be there to photograph it, under the pretext that I was auditioning for their future possible wedding (as they’d discussed marriage, but not formally gotten engaged). %A %B %e%q, %Ybytu.jingwen
我有幸拍攝過不少俊男美女，這是每個攝影師樂見的事情。不過，漂亮的畫面以外我更慶幸的是所拍的場合俱有心引人的故事性。Kate和立廷的訂婚就是發生在傳統建築老房子中非常有故事性的一場。被奶奶養大的Kate選擇回到三合院風格的老家與奶奶及親朋好友分享這一天的感動。 I have photographed some nice looking people, but have been especially fortunate to help tell some compelling stories in interesting settings through my lens. 2011年6月18日我有榮幸當好友Josh的幫兇,藉拍照的名義讓他跟美麗的女友打扮得很漂亮在宜蘭冬山河附近拍照.拍到一個階段之後我跟他”動作指導”一下請他跪下來.聽到我給他的暗號之後他隨即將準備好的訂婚戒指拿出來並跪在地上向她求婚.當然,她答應了. 開始拍照時已經快天黑了,連換鏡頭的時間都沒有.從化妝到拍完後打電話跟媽媽分享喜訊整個過程只花了80分鐘. 請瀏覽相簿 另外我挑選了數張影像製作了影音的幻燈片秀,超浪漫的!
